Everyone keeps writing about the religious aspect of the Kim Davis’ situation. How about you suggest an article based on the fact that she is elected by the people of Kentucky to follow the Kentucky Constitution and laws in performing her job?
The Kentucky Constitution states that marriage is between one man and one woman; Kentucky law states that marriage is to be between one man and one woman and same-sex marriage is prohibited.
Another fact: The Supreme Court interprets the Constitution and renders an opinion. It does not make laws. Congress and state legislatures make laws.
