Joseph: Love your articles, keep up the good fight.
The picture of the Israeli teacher strikes a chord with me ["How to stop the slaughter of the innocents"].
American teachers lack the kill instinct. For many of them, there are not enough hours of training to develop the necessary reaction. The solution? Retired military.
The “Troops to Teachers” program already exists. The goal is to put people who have been mentors into the classroom for their second career. We should embrace this program, and arm them!
Consider this: Teachers are ... continue reading »
Today America struggles to answer one question: Why?! Early reports indicate that Adam Lanza’s mental health deteriorated rapidly following the departure of his father. If there is one theme common to school killings that is precisely it: the absence of a strong father-son bond.
There was an unintended consequence of the feminist movement – as women became more independent, alongside this grew a prevailing sentiment that “we don’t need men.” Men, being the fallible creatures they are, have always suffered from a tendency to shirk their duties as father and husband anyway. They were all too willing to oblige ... continue reading »
Sen. Dianne Feinstein is the crudest, most crass politician in Washington. For her to go on national television and push her pet political program before the first innocent victim in Newtown was buried is the most indecent political act I have witnessed in quite a while. She apparently has no sense of propriety, no understanding of the issues involved and decidedly no compassion for those who lost loved ones.
Now is the time for grief and mourning. Now is the time to comfort those who are hurting. Now is the time to reach out to those in need. Now is the time to demonstrate love.

In response to the Connecticut killings … How many millions of babies have been aborted since Roe v. Wade? How many people are killed by automobiles daily? How many more violent movies and video games will be produced year after year by those Hollywood liberals who promote gun control and influence the thinking and actions of the population?
President Obama approves of near-term abortions (infanticide) but shows up to shed tears over killing of these latest folks by guns. He wouldn’t be looking to further his cause for gun control, now would he? When will the politicians realize what we need is more morality, not more contro ... continue reading »
It’s been argued that nothing, especially gun-control laws, could have prevented the Sandy Hook shootings in Connecticut and similar tragedies in other schools.
I submit that such thinking may not be entirely accurate.
God’s ordained board of education is the family. It is contrary to God’s Word to place the responsibility of children in the hands of public, or even privatized educational institutions.
Homeschooling: For K-12 grades, I strongly urge its consideration.
Think about it. For generations now, ... continue reading »
From William Murray’s column:
“The constant esteem building in public schools teaching even low-functioning kids with anger problems to judge themselves equal to the valedictorian is yet another.”
As a mom of a developmentally disabled young adult and an active member of a number of communities of parents of special needs children, I would like to see the “facts” behind this statement. Produce specific examples of this with school names, teachers, “low functioning” children who say/believe such things. In truth, Mr. ... continue reading »
