It’s been argued that nothing, especially gun-control laws, could have prevented the Sandy Hook shootings in Connecticut and similar tragedies in other schools.
I submit that such thinking may not be entirely accurate.
God’s ordained board of education is the family. It is contrary to God’s Word to place the responsibility of children in the hands of public, or even privatized educational institutions.

The tragic mass shooting at the Sandy Hooks Elementary School has once again brought forth the cry for gun control. According to their beliefs, the Sandy Hooks shooting and the shootings that have occurred in schools, malls, movie theaters and other public places could have been avoided had firearms been banned.
I believe that drugs are illegal in these United States, and yet a large number of our citizens is on everything from pot to cocaine, which creates a multi-million-dollar business for drug lords and dealers. The most strident voices now calling for draconian gun control because of the horrific loss of innocent life are the same voices that have zero problems with abortion.
Obviously, to those folks one kind of killing is OK and another is not. I guess in our society today, gunning down a helpless 6 year old is murder, but leaving a newborn who survives abortion to die unattended is a “choice.”
I can’t make that distinction – probably because I’m not a politician.
Why do we need a president anyway? Why can’t Congress circumvent him just as he tries to circumvent Congress?
Rep. Boehner should just make the proposal to change the tax system to a consumption tax and get rid of fractional reserve banking and select its own members to head the banks in this country. It’s control according to the Constitution, our money.
Lincoln proposed it as did John F. Kennedy. Of course, we know what happened to them.
Direct taxation and the Federal Reserve need to come to an end before they celebrate their 100th birthday next year.
