Mayflower Pilgrims equal terrorists?! I have talked to quite a few younger Americans stating that the Pilgrims intentionally contaminated blankets and clothing with smallpox, and then gave these items to the various Indian tribes in New England.
Some of these low mental lefties say the Pilgrims ate with the Native-Americans at Thanksgiving and then shot them.
Obama has now equated the Syrian refugees with Pilgrims. I suppose it’s our turn now, the “killers” who killed the original people will now be killed by the new pilgrims. What goes around comes around.
Those critical questions should be asked separately and in the debates among Republican candidates for president.
It would be important to know also where they stand in regard to an Article V convention of the states. Jeb Bush says Barack Obama is “literally petulant.” Is that any different from “petulant”? Symptomatic of cultural decay, there’s a war on language by those who should know better. Take this widespread misuse, if not torture, of the adverb “literally.” This is the case on talk radio, too, where some well-known hosts incessantly burp up the word – almost always inappropriately. Do these speakers think they sound more literate with every gratuitous repetition? To the contrary, they come across as foolish and uneducated, further accelerating cultural erosion.
