Regarding your piece on Sen. Mark Kirk: “Sen. Mark Kirk ‘saw angels’ following stroke,” nice try, but it doesn’t quite fit with my personal experience. I have a congenital heart defect (so much for intelligent design), and I’ve had six heart attacks and a near-fatal heatstroke. Your god had seven opportunities to either convert or kill an atheist and blew each one.
My conclusions are that:
If you believe in angels, you see angels.
If you believe in skilled medical professionals who can actually help you, you see doctor ... continue reading »
It is a sad fact today that most Americans (including those is places of knowledge) are being “tricked” into thinking it’s the politicians who are screwing everything up. Granted, they have their place to be held accountable, but while we’re all watching them, it’s their masters who are truly controlling things.
Truth be told, Joseph, politicians are merely the mouthpieces for those pulling all the strings. Why do we never see anyone (including yourself) shed any light on who these people are? They quietly sit in the background and start wars, choose presidents, as well as o ... continue reading »
In a discussion about our Second Amendment rights, I have not heard much about different type of incidents that have occurred in Connecticut, Colorado or other areas. According to the 2009 FBI Crime Report, 33,808 fatalities were reported in car accidents, with 12,744 caused by drunk drivers. Connecticut had 223 fatal crashes, with 114 as the result of drunk drivers, and New York had 1,156 fatalities and 388 by drunk drivers. In addition, in 2009 we had 1,836 fatal stabbings and 815 fatalities due to personal weapons such as hands, feet and pushing.
I do not hear anybody trying to ban or confiscate cars, alcohol or knives. What is t ... continue reading »
We should remind the terrorist Donald Kaul that without the Second Amendment, he would have no First Amendment to hide behind as he spews his vitriol ["We'll 'pry guns from cold, dead fingers'"].
Put him right up there with his buddies in Iran, Cuba and Venezuela.
I hope someone can contact Mr. Kaul or give me the information on how to email him, and inform him that he is exactly the sick-minded type of individual who perpetrates the kind of heinous acts he claims to want to cure ["We'll 'pry guns from cold, dead fingers'"]. He is a thoroughly dangerous person who needs to be imprisoned or institutionalized and treated until he no longer advocates violence.
It’s hard to believe that someone like him can be allowed to roam freely, taking every opportunity he can to kill innocent, law-abiding firearms owners. Here in Ame ... continue reading »
Regarding the story “We’ll ‘pry guns from cold, dead fingers’” – this is pure “hate speech,” and we need to call for this man to be arrested for it. After all, his leader has mandated hate speech to be a crime!
This man needs to go to jail.
