Hi, Joseph. Let me begin by stating that I am a big supported of Ted Cruz. I like his conservative principles and appreciate his willingness to take a stand for what is right, even if he takes heat from both Republicans and Democrats.
However, I am also a constitutionalist, and, as you know, Article II, Section 1 clearly states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
Ted Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father (who became a naturalized American citizen in 2 ... continue reading »
I want to comment, if I may, on this latest issue concerning John Hagee and the movie production of “Blood Moons.” I also for many year have studied the books, DVDs, etc. of Mark Biltz. I believe that you are justified in your accusation against Mr. Hagee, but as I have read in a devotional from Oswald Chambers, “Paul is like a musician who does not need the approval of the audience if he can catch the look of approval from his Master.”

As long as “Homeland Security” gropes old ladies, ransacks our luggage and seizes our water at the airports, all the while inviting hoards of illegals over the border unmolested carrying God knows what to be registered as Democrats to overpower the votes of Americans, why should we fund them at all?
With all due respect to Howard Schultz, Starbucks CEO, the notion that baristas in his employ should prod barely awake coffee addicts into riveting conversations about race is NOT good business, nor is it particularly patriotic!
Especially at 5 bells in the a.m.!
Like many other Americans, I feel overwhelmed by the ubiquitous harangues about race and racism. That’s not to say that racial discrimination does need not to be intelligently addressed and eradicated.
There is no doubt that American history is replete with slavery, Jim Crow laws and other grinding, inhuman abuse wantonly inflicted upon black people.
