Sir, I am thoroughly disgusted with Washington, D.C., and all the corruption that is in it. This scandal about the unnecessary shooting of Miriam Carey is a very despicable action on the part of the “Capitol police.” I feel some body or persons involved should have to do time and pay some fines for such a situation.
I am beginning to think that anyone working for the government is automatically absolved of any type of criminal behavior. I, for one, do not think that it is at all proper.
That is like ... continue reading »
The open southern border is a national emergency that’s bigger than 9/11.
But there’s a way to stop this insane federal government from taking down America. We truckers transport 75 percent of all goods shipped. A national truckers strike until the feds secure the southern border would sober up the fools in D.C. very quickly.
As an independent trucker for 20 years, I am outraged by my federal government making it more and more difficult for me to earn a decent living so I can take care of my family. The high price of fuel and all the new regulations are killing the trucking industry, and a lot of truckers are boil ... continue reading »
Mr. Farah, I firmly and solidly stand with your position ["Proof: Progressivism is a death cult"].
The only thing missing in the stance of Obama and the PCUSA is the trumpet blast to mask the screams of the babies being incinerated in the hands of the Baal statue. The only way to understand the callousness of such stances is to resort to the conclusion that these people are purely evil, have blacken their soul beyond redemption and are destined to eternal damnation.
Obama is one thing – but for a “Christian” denomination to endorse att ... continue reading »
Mr. Buchanan, I propose that a break-up of “The Union” is exactly what is needed ["America: No longer 1 nation, 1 people"].
Our nation is deeply divided, with the political “class” being its own insulated and oblivious enclave – one most citizens would be far better without (and not just at the federal level, as many state governments mimic the federal malignancy). A break-up, with some that would certainly try to re-establish a constitutional republic based on the original founding documents, is desperately needed. Many lessons h ... continue reading »
Gov. Rick Perry complains now about the border influx, but the children are only coming to take advantage of in-state tuition and the driver’s licenses Texas gives illegals.
In 2012 Perry lectured the rest of us about “being compassionate.” What happened to that nonsense now?
Mr. Buchanan, I agree.
I am a Jew. My ancestors came to America in the 1880s and 1890s from Russia, Austria and England. They were proud and grateful to come here.
Like all European immigrants of that time, as you point out, they came here to be Americans – to embrace America, its traditions, its culture, language. While they kept some of their culture (as all cultures did), they left some of it at the shores for the privilege of being American. They assimilated, and did so e ... continue reading »
