[To Pat Buchanan:] I can only say BRILLIANT assessment of Paul Ryan. None of these elitists did anything to stop the carnage in D.C. Trump will – of that I have no doubt. You, Mr. Buchanan, are to be commended for finally telling the truth!
[To Pat Buchanan:] Kudos to Paul Ryan for standing for principle not gutter politics. Donald Trump is not fit for office. The comments you make in your column seem peculiar at best, particularly coming from a person who has lived off the public breast much of your life, and to my knowledge has never been successful in winning election to any public office.
[To Pat Buchanan:] If you watched the entire interview with Paul Ryan, he said he wants to support Donald Trump and hopes that he will. Who are you to criticize Paul Ryan for articulating his beliefs when asked? He didn’t come out and announce that he couldn’t support Donald Trump; he answered a question honestly. He happens to be a principled conservative.
Donald Trump would do well to convince Paul Ryan to support him instead of trying to bully him into submission; perhaps then other principled conservatives who admire Paul Ryan might come to support him, too.
I wish you would write a column about this: Over the past 25 years, how many members of the House of Saud or other royal family members of Persian Gulf countries have given their blood and treasure in protecting the oil wealth of their “families”? Would zero be the answer?
And why do we still have military bases deployed and billions of dollars spent yearly in the Persian Gulf countries protecting the royal families’ reserves when America has such vast, newly discovered oil and gas reserves?
America doesn’t care what Matt Barber thinks [“A Christian letter to nominee Trump”]. All of us have reservations about Trump. However, our choices are Hillary or Trump. Trump is the answer. A vote for Hillary is a vote for the continuous slaughter of countless babies. Enough said. Tell Matt to quit whining.
