I would like to comment on this article, “Too bad, ACLU! The Bible’s back in school.”
I think it would be wonderful to bring the Bible back to the schools, but I don’t think it is a good idea. Let me tell you why and a little about me.
I am a devout Catholic. (Please don’t hold that against me. LOL!) I actually am one who lives her faith. I wouldn’t want my faith taught in public schools for one reason: Where would you stop?
Meaning: To what faith would you say no?

How can you be so hopeful that Romney will win when Soros’ Spanish company is counting the U.S. votes in 20l2? I am sure you had it on here, but Google “Soros’ Spanish company is counting the U.S. votes in 20l2.”
I have checked and there is indication that the GOP tried to get them to stop or that Soros changed his mind.
This is outsourcing the U.S. votes. No foreign country ever counted U.S. votes before this time. It is dishonest, corrupt, dictatorship, illegal or it should be, against the Constitution or it should be, anti-American not just against the Republicans, anti-democracy, etc.

I think you’re totally on point (again) in regard to the Democratic National Convention denying our Father in Heaven, and His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Denying them three times was incredibly stupid and foolish on their part. Sadly, because of a lack of belief in the Almighty, they’ll never know their abject folly.
God bless you for the column you wrote, and everything else you do.
The most important line in Bill Clinton’s speech this week was this: “[Obama] has laid the foundations for a new, modern, successful economy of shared prosperity. And if you will renew the president’s contract, you will feel it. You will feel it.” That comment jumped out at me the moment he said it, and I knew it was not good.
But then he went on to say, “President Obama’s approach embodies the values, the ideas and the direction America has to take to build a 21st-century version of the American dream, a nation of shared opportunities, shared responsibilities, shared prosperity a shared sense of ... continue reading »
In response to your story “Firing of Bible-toting teacher under review” – it has been apparent to me for many years that the educational system in this country needs 1) to be educated as to what the Constitution says and what it means, and 2) that the school districts need to bee taken to court and bankrupted every time they violate a student’s or a teacher’s religious freedom.
They love to quote the first part of the sentence in the Constitution that says, “Congress (and this means the federal, not state government) shall make no law ... continue reading »
If anyone wonders why Bill Clinton gave such a seemingly enthusiastic endorsement of Obama Wednesday night, here’s the answer: In four years Obama is termed out. Enter Hillary for president. If Romney wins and serves a possible eight years, Hillary might be considered too old to run – so it’s pretty easy to see why the Clintons would want Obama to serve another term. That’s assuming, of course, the nation as we now know it could survive under another four years of Obama.
