Congress can save Social Security

Sunday, May 10th, 2015

Re: “Social Security insolvent sooner than expected”

With regard to the article about the more rapid failure of the Social Security program, first let me explain it is not a program whereby the government gives retirees a gift each month but the benefits of an insurance policy protecting us against financial insolvency. Thanks to our Texan president, Lyndon B. Johnson, and a worthless Congress allowing him to steal the Social Security money and transfer it to the general fund, we now have a problem. Friday, May 8th, 2015

Joseph,

Thank you for your commentary. Keep up the good information. People are reading and listening.

I was challenged to pray and search the Scriptures. I was rejoicing that you issued this challenge ... continue reading »

Reverse course now

Wednesday, May 6th, 2015

Albert Einstein had something to say about the problems represented by the recent events in Baltimore. The great man said that you cannot solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created the problem.

Unfortunately, there are many who say that we have to do more of the same. More of the same! More of the policies and programs that got us to this mess. How could anybody think that treating people as though they are helpless and unable to cope with life would result in anything good and beautiful? How could anybody think that treating people as less than the magnificent and able creature they are allow them to grow and actu ... continue reading »
