I have been reading WND since its inception.
Recently, I have found more and more of your personal stances bordering on divisive and even appalling.
As a believer, I can appreciate your affiliation with certain Christian teachers and contact. However, in some ways, now you have lost the grace God demands.
Your assault on Karl Rove at this time seems like nothing more than a personal vendetta. What he said was stupid, though not as stupid as Akin’s definition on rape and his insistence to stay in the race and destroy the GOP’s chance to win a critical Senate seat in Missouri. I am quite sur ... continue reading »
Christians, WAKE UP!
You are under attack by your own government. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama condemned a movie that portrayed Muhammad in in unflattering light. Our embassy apologized to the Islamic population for the movie offending Islamists!
Our esteemed mainstream media seem more intent on using the event to attack Mitt Romney for his criticism of the embassies’ apology than in condemning the terrorists who attacked our embassies.
So, where were our government officials when the movie depicting Christ as a homosexual was released? They defended the film, with no apology to Christia ... continue reading »
Why were the U.S. intelligence agencies (CIA, NSA, DIA, etc.), for all their vaunted capabilities, asleep at the switch in failing to anticipate or warn of the attacks against overseas U.S. embassies by radical Muslims?
There’s a simple and altogether likely explanation. Under thug Obama’s administration, the sprawling intelligence apparatus has unconstitutionally shifted focus to the mass of innocent American citizens. The paranoid Washington establishment, corrupt and crooked to the core, evidently fears the citizens of the United States more than anything else.
If I were in charge of cleaning up the Republican Party, Karl Rove would be the very first person to thrown out. He needs to find a moral compass. He is always putting down the tea-party candidates because he is not a true conservative. He is a pseudo conservative.
He doesn’t want social issues such as abortion. and religious freedom in the campaign. This tells me he is also a phony Christian. Any true Christian would tell you, your faith should guide you in everything you do in life, not just how to act in church.
More than 90 percent of the people in t ... continue reading »
Pat Buchanan says it is past time to come home, and truer words were never spoken. How many more years will it take for us to realize that none of these Muslim nations in the Mideast are anywhere near ready to become a democracy or a republic, nor do they want to pattern their countries after America. The more money we spend and the more lives lost, the more they hate us and resent our being there. If we spent 40 years in Afghanistan, the minute we’d leave, they would revert right back to the Taliban calling the shots. You can’t help people like that.
Bring them all ... continue reading »
I’m wondering when conservatives are going to get over this irrational fear of felons voting ["Obama-backing group fights for felons' votes"]. It seems you assume they all vote Democrat.
I was convicted of felonies 20-25 years ago. I’m now a born-again Christian, and I’m 45 credit hours through with a 90 credit hour Master of Divinity degree. I have voted Republican since Bob Dole ran for president. I send money to Republicans like Michele Bachmann and Todd Akin. He is a good conservative, and since he asked forgiveness, I gav ... continue reading »
