Soooo … I’m assuming that when a woman dies in childbirth, or because of an ectopic pregnancy, that’s a GOOD thing because it’s your god’s way of taking his vengeance on her because she’s been an evil person? Or maybe it’s your god’s way of punishing her family, by taking her away from them? Still happens, but it used to be much more common before those damn secular humanists stepped in and decided that people can change the course of life with medicine and surgery.
Are you suggesting that we go back to simply letting women die from pregnancy, because their deaths are Allah’s (oo ... continue reading »
You are a sick bunch of liars!
Another one bites the dust. In a rare moment of establishment press introspection, outgoing New York Times public editor Arthur S. Brisbane insinuated his newspaper is being overrun and undermined by the hustlers of liberal progressivism. In his final Times column (Aug. 26, 2012), Brisbane writes: “Across the paper’s many departments, though, so many share a kind of political and cultural progressivism [...] that this worldview virtually bleeds through the fabric of The Times. [D]evelopments like the Occupy movement and gay marriage seem almost to erupt in The Times, overloved and undermanaged, more like causes than news subjec ... continue reading »
As a Bible teacher in Atlanta, I want to express my appreciation for Albert Thompson’s article “Christian embassy ‘comforts’ besieged Israel.” It was terrific!
“Comforting” Israel is truly a biblical mandate as is praying for the peace of Jerusalem! ICEJ is dedicated to working in both those arenas. The interview Thompson did with Susan Michael was excellent and covered all the bases, some of which have become controversial even among evangelical Christians. I am happy I am part of an embassy in Jerusalem dedicated to support ... continue reading »
The death of Astronaut Neil Armstrong on Saturday should cause all of us to reflect on the Apollo moon landing and what it said about the American people at the middle of the 20th century.
In 1961, President John Kennedy issued a daunting challenge to the country to “Land a man on the moon and return him safely to the Earth before the end of the decade.” It was a bold challenge, full of optimism and faith.
And Americans responded. The best and brightest of us set about to bring to reality a dream of mankind for thousands of years. And the rest of us enthusiastically cheered them on.
Eight short years later, ... continue reading »
I see no discernible difference between either of them. Mitt’s latest statement of how Congress should not be in control of the monetary system shows he is absolutely oblivious of the Constitution, and anyone that ignorant should not be in charge of running a state, let alone a nation.
I have been observing the platforms of both Romney and Obama, and they are parallel to each other. I will not vote for either one of them. It is a shame more people do not wake up to the facts. Neither party is the right party. Both are heading toward socialism. One is taking the express lane there, and the other party is doing so in small steps ... continue reading »
