Just think, in 1776, if we had the “gun control” people are talking today, we would probably be going out for a “spot of tea” after work instead of “bellying up to the bar” for some good old-fashioned American beer!
The last time one of our presidents was guilty of impeachable offenses occurred when Bill Clinton lied to Congress under oath ["Rock legend: No question Obama should be impeached"]. We saw how far it went when the attempt was made to remove him from office. The current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has done far more than Bill Clinton, but like Clinton, he is a Demoncrat. The Senate is lousy with them. Just how far can the impeachment process go when Harry the Scarecrow Reid is in charge? Get real! [To Joseph Farah:] I do not have paranoid delusions of a tyrannical government gaining power – like you might – so I like the year 2012 ["Better off now than in 1776?"]. The year 1776 would have been better for people who think the earth is only 6,000 years old or is flat.

I just wanted to say, about 1980, at least Jimmy Carter was an American and a Christian. And even though he didn’t do a great job, I do think at least he had America’s best interest at heart and in mind.
That is a whole lot different than what it appears we have today. Right now we are in the worst situation we have been in he past 63-plus years that I’ve been here. I’m scared to death that I might live too long, considering the ways things are going now. I can’t imagine as I get older having to live under a bridge or worse.
Dear friends at WND: My wife and I were on your Tea Party at Sea a few years ago, and we loved it! You do a great job on the website and I read it everyday. BUT, don’t run so many sex-related stories. We don’t need that on a site run by believers in the Lord Jesus! Sex stories do not edify and do not help the mess we are in. Keep up the great work but please cut the dirty stuff.
