I have, at 63, been suffering at the hands of the little people for decades. You see, I am 6’5″ tall. The world has stared at me and gazed in wonder at me and always put me at the end of the line and on and on.
I played on a basketball team where I was always with my back to the basket and had to get all the rebounds for the shooter stars and was always at their mercy for a piece of that round-ball action.
I am tall, so my body has a harder time getting blood to my feet, and my aorta is longer and more prone to burst. It is infinitely more difficult to bend over and pick something up. Sinks and commodes are made f ... continue reading »
It’s my favorite time of year. The global warming “scientists” are digging themselves out of Arctic ice flows just in time to warn the rest of the world, which is recovering from another record-breaking winter, that they are here to save the day.
This idea of human-induced global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated in human history. It is fast becoming the new secular religion, with most Hollywood celebs as its high priests. Reading Hank Aaron’s thoughts about 40 years ago, I want to tell him that all his hurts should have been turned over to Jesus, and the hatred that seems to consumes him should be put at the cross. The Lord allowed him to win, and he still is using the hatred card to soothe his hurts. His garbage about suits and ties for the KKK is very sad.
Jeb Bush thinks illegal immigration is an act of love. ¡Ay! ¡Qué lindo! Obviously, his comments are an act of pandering. He should join fellow Floridian Charlie Crist and join the Democratic Party, where his views will be more welcome.
Jeb Bush’s comments regarding illegal immigration being an “act of love” exposes how out of touch he is when it comes to the law. If a person is unemployed, as many are in the U.S., and robs a bank so that his children can be fed, a case can be made that his actions are an “act of love.”
Undocumented workers are stealing jobs from legal citizens, not to mention the billions spent by states to educate and provide health care to undocumented workers and their children. While their motivation to come here may be an “act of love,” their presence here is an “act of theft.” If Jeb Bush ... continue reading »
They’re trying to turn Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich into the victim – that he was attacked for his beliefs. But when the belief is wrong, then it has to be attacked.
Discriminating against gays is as wrong as discriminating against blacks or Jews or Hispanics or Asians or anyone else. If he gave money to the KKK, there would be universal outrage with no question. Instead, he gave money to the Gay-KK. It’s the same thing.
So you can spin it all you want (you should see the somersaults they are doing on Fox to try to turn this around); it is wrong, and he was called on it. Yes, the action was extreme, but this is an e ... continue reading »
