With the disclaimer that neither do I agree with all of Richard Rives’ teachings, I am compelled to comment on Ted Wegener’s very tired, wholly discredited and utterly illogical attack on the biblical doctrines of the Trinity and the deity of Christ. He is in serious need of some new material.
I hereby also request that WND heretofore place a warning on such letters that are likely to provoke the reader to pull a mental muscle (or at minimum spew coffee on an expensive laptop!) attempting to follow the writer’s twisted logic, obvious ignorance of church history and basic ... continue reading »
Thank you so much for having the integrity and courage to write and say what America needs to hear. I know that your strength comes from the Lord Jesus, as does mine.
My wife and I moved to rural New York from California three years ago – can’t say that I miss the Left Coast. I am so disgusted with family, neighbors and friends (MANY of them self-proclaimed “Christians”) who will not make nor take a stand on conservative political or social issues. It seems that no one has the balls to stand up to tyranny these days. I suppose that they find it easier to let “someone else” fight the ... continue reading »
In his column “Big Sis: The new J. Edgar Hoover?” the esteemed Nat Hentoff denounces another insidious and chilling assault on free speech and liberty by the obnoxious Janet Napolitano and the subversive Obama gang. Mr. Hentoff quotes James Madison: “Legislative, executive and judiciary, in the same hands … may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”
This got me wondering about what the architects of the union would think if they could return to review the state of that union in 2012. With a bow to Noah Webster’s infamous distinction ... continue reading »
Why is Obamacare, via its mandate to buy insurance, not illegal under the 13th Amendment? It is the federal government forcing people to “work” in finding an insurance policy – to take an “economically productive action for another, without compensation.” Is that not the definition of involuntary servitude?
In fact, for the privilege of being forced to engage in “work” you also have to pay for a policy that you may or may not use – but presumably is enriching the insurer via the government forcing all people to be customers, as opposed to being compensated for the “work” p ... continue reading »
I don’t listen to Fox News. With every passing week it becomes more Marxist/socialist. Glenn Beck is replaced by Bob Beckel – what more does a conservative need to know!
Thanks for all you do. May God help you, and may it please God to save our nation!
In Richard Rives’ video “Who really ‘loves the Lord’ may surprise you,” he said that according to New Testament Scripture, Jesus is the Creator himself. While that may be Richard Rives’ belief and interpretation, it is not supported by the evidence we have.
For the first 300 hundred years of Christianity, it was not established doctrine that Jesus is God. After his conversions to Christianity, Scripture says the Apostle Paul “At once … began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God” (Acts 9:20). ... continue reading »
