Unless my ears deceived me, on his radio show Tuesday, Sean Hannity called birthers “idiots.” It came in a conversation with Sen. Marco Rubio. Given your appearance on his TV show that evening, it makes me wonder why he even would have invited you. Maybe you could let Sean know that it is those who defy and ignore the Constitution who are the true idiots.
In 1964 and 1969, my American-born wife gave birth to our sons. At the time I was a legal resident from Holland but had not yet obtained U.S. citizenship. I obtained birth certificates and also passports so our children could travel abroad with us.
I was informed then at Immigration that I may have two future senators, but the boys would not ever be able to become president because they had a “foreign born” father. It was stated in a friendly manner because it was noted how they would automatically be American citizens, and in response we were made aware of the exclusion caveat.

To Molotov Mitchell, regarding his video commentary, “Pro-family crowd: Are you serious?”
So, if I understand your message correctly, today’s evangelicals (with whom you seem to be identifying yourself with in this and other presentations) should prefer family values over political alignment? If moral value is the only deciding factor, the only worthy candidate is Santorum. We ought, however, to be voting for who can get the job done. Consider King David and his son Solomon, both lacking in moral example, yet most capable during a time of great peace and pros ... continue reading »
I hate to break the news to the presumptive “masters of the universe” generally hived in Washington, D.C. The Leviathan warfare police state you and your antecedents illicitly crafted by hook or by crook, especially after World War II, is going the way of the dinosaur. You misjudged how strongly rooted in the American DNA is the tenet of individual liberty.
In a phenomenon consciously ignored by the government-media complex (i.e., the co-opted mainstream media and neocon talk-radio parrots), American youth in large numbers have caught the fever of anti-federalism. It’s a contagion riding an inexorable wave that gro ... continue reading »
Regarding David Limbaugh’s excellent column on voting one’s conscience: Immediately when the presidential race began, main media outlets began claiming Romney will definitely win. After hearing others say that Ron Paul isn’t electable or can’t win, it was timely for a piece like Limbaugh’s on conscience and the fluidity of the present race. And I would add, the probable stupidity of trying to guess who is a winner.
Is this a popularity vote, and I only want to be associated for my own ego with the “winner”?
This is not a football ... continue reading »
Your article on removing God as “Father” and Jesus as the “Son of God” was very one-sided and slanderous of Wycliffe Bible translators.
At the very least you could have investigated and found out why such a respectable conservative evangelical organization has been doing this. Even if you disagree in the end, you are painting them as heretical demons, much like liberals spread lies about conservatives.
This is a very difficult issue and not at all a case of catering to Muslims for the sake of pacifying them. In their cultural context, t ... continue reading »
