Internet media star Andrew Breitbart, who runs Breitbart.com, Breitbart.tv, BigHollywood.com, BigGovernment.com, BigJournalism.com and other Internet websites, says Barack Obama's own account of his life has "Swiss cheese holes" in it.
Affirming his stance that questions about the president's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office will not make a winning strategy and should not be pursued by opponents, he told radio host Hugh Hewitt that the president has "invited" the controversy over his qualifications by refusing to provide basic information.
The interview has been posted on the Breitbart.tv site and the comments come at about the 34:00 mark of the discussion.
Breitbart said that he hasn't read all the research produced by those Hewitt called "birthers."

"I was the person at the national tea party convention that told [WND Founder and editor] Joseph Farah that I thought it was not correct tactics to make the birther situation part of the tea party," he said.
"But I really do believe Barack Obama has huge Swiss cheese holes in his narrative, such as Columbia and at Occidental. This guy is a very young guy. He is a very charismatic guy. He's probably been videotaped millions of times. And yet we don't know anything about him.
"He's invited this, and the press that hates the birther thing and says it's the worst thing in the world. He and the press that didn't vet this president have invited questions marks over his entire history," he said.
Hewitt said he rejects "birtherism" completely.
Breitbart responds, "I have not looked at the facts because I've said even it were true, it would be a losing battle. It would split the country. When we for the first time ever – as fiscal conservatives and constitutional-minded citizens – have a winning argument for what we stand for. And I do not want to divide the country. So I honestly haven't read the information."
The interview included discussion of Breitbart's new book, "Righteous Indignation: Excuse me While I Save the World!"
Yesterday, the Drudge Report featured "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President" in its top headline, and the book skyrocketed to the No. 1 spot among all books on Amazon.com.
The book, which has an official release date of May 17, is by two-time No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Jerome Corsi.
The Drudge Report declared, "The street date is a LONG month away, and author
Jerome Corsi, the man who torpedoed John Kerry's presidential dreams
with SWIFT BOAT, has gone underground and is holding his new findings
thisclose." The "thisclose" was used to emphasize the secrecy.
"'It's utterly devastating,' reveals a source close to the publisher. 'Obama may learn things he didn't even know about himself!'" Drudge said.
Drudge wondered whether the president's attorneys will "attempt to interfere with the book's distribution?" and whether the book will "finally – once and for all – put an end to the growing controversy?"

"The book results from three years of continuing research," Corsi said. "I traveled to Kenya and to Hawaii. I have hired private investigators and had the help of inside sources in Kenya, Indonesia and Hawaii. The book will contain startling new information, and the release of the book will be orchestrated through WND with documents the public has never seen before."
Interest in the controversy has accelerated in recent months. There was Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie's famous pledge to find Barack Obama's birth certificate and make it public to shut up the so-called "birthers."
The governor's quest raised national interest in the issue – especially when he failed to produce the promised documentation. Members of Congress have raised similar questions about Obama's eligibility, and state lawmakers are considering plans to require documentation from presidential candidates.
Then came Donald Trump out of the blue, asking questions WND's newsroom team has been asking for the last two and a half years, raising the national debate to furious new heights.
Now another shoe is ready to drop.
Farah, also chief of WND Books, the publisher of the book, declared, "Potentially, I believe this book is the political endgame for Barack Obama."
"I don't see how he can be re-elected with hard questions and new evidence of his ineligibility raised by the book. It's a game-changer – and the news media blackout on this issue has now turned into a media feeding frenzy to cover their negligent rear ends."
At Alexa, the Internet information company, "Where's the Birth Certificate?" was rated as the hottest product.
"Products that people are coveting right now ... 1. Where's the Birth Certificate?" the site said.
The site also listed at No. 2 among "Hot Pages," the Drudge reference to "Book to Reveal Obama's True Identity?"
Between now and May 17, when the book officially debuts, video ad spots are promoting "Where's the Birth Certificate?"
Farah hopes the commercials, which are going viral on the Internet, will raise even more interest in the book and spur those frustrated about Obama's unwillingness to document his eligibility for office to make financial contributions to air the spots on television in May.
In addition, a national billboard campaign running for the last two years – asking "Where’s the birth certificate?" – will be transformed into promotion of the book.
There are other innovative marketing efforts surrounding the book planned for the Kentucky Derby and the Indianapolis 500.
"If you agree with me that this charade by Obama has gone on much too long, I urge you to get behind our efforts in any way you can," says Farah. "Help spread these videos across the Internet, using your Facebook pages, emails and other social networking tools. Make a donation of at least $25 to the TV ad campaign and you will receive a first-edition, autographed copy of the book before anyone else – that's cheaper than placing an advance order because free shipping is included."
Farah concludes, "Watch the videos. Watch the calendar. And watch the Obama re-election campaign squirm."
Jerome Corsi will not do any media on this book until release date May 17. Media wishing to interview Joseph Farah can contact him by email.
