What does the growing influence of Islam around the globe have to do with the end times? Perhaps a lot, according to "God's War on Terror," a book by former Muslim terrorist Walid Shoebat and in the No. 1 spot among best-sellers at WND's online Superstore this week.

The work has been described as perhaps the most comprehensive and detailed research ever done on the subject of Islam and its relationships to end times.

While Christians await the coming of Christ, it explains, Islam awaits the coming of the Mahdi, who is to:

  • Usher in a seven-year peace treaty.

  • Changes times and laws.

  • Wll rule from the Temple Mount.

  • Does not honor women … AND

  • Cuts off the heads of those who are infidels (Christians and Jews)

The book poses the question: Is all this just a coincidence or is the Mahdi the Antichrist?

(Story continues below)

Shoebat, an ex-Muslim terrorist, analyzes the issue in thought-provoking fashion and assembles the prophecy puzzle and explains how the Islamic endtimes mindset perfectly matches the spirit of Antichrist,

It also addresses the very relevant concerns about which Muslim nation will lead the coalition, who is "Mystery Babylon," and what is the "Mark of the Beast."

In second place is "The Marketing of Evil" by David Kupelian, the authoritative explanation of why American society is in the deteriorated shape that it is in today.

In it, his explains, "Americans have come to tolerate, embrace and even champion many things that would have horrified their parents' generation – from easy divorce and unrestricted abortion-on-demand to extreme body piercing and teaching homosexuality to grade-schoolers."

The impetus behind this, however, is not necessarily that today's Americans are inherently more morally confused and depraved than previous generations.

They have, however, he writes, "fallen victim to some of the most stunningly brilliant and compelling marketing campaigns in modern history."

:"The Marketing of Evil" reveals how much of what Americans once almost universally abhorred has been packaged, perfumed, gift-wrapped and sold to them as though it had great value.

"Highly skilled marketers, playing on our deeply felt national values of fairness, generosity and tolerance, have persuaded us to embrace as enlightened and noble that which all previous generations since America’s founding regarded as grossly self-destructive – in a word, evil," he explains.

"Marketers are out to get America's youth, and they'll stop at nothing to do it," writes Rebecca Hagelin of the Heritage Foundation. "In 'The Marketing of Evil,' David Kupelian treats parents to a rare insider look at exactly how our children – and adults too – are being lied to, confused, and seduced by radicals and phony experts. The game's over, folks – the con men have been exposed. I urge every parent to read this eye-opening book."

In third place is the popular bumper sticker that says "America was Founded by Right-Wing Extremists."

It's just one of the bumper stickers at WND's Superstore that highlight the social and political issues of today.

It allows people to make a statement about what's going on today without saying a word.

The magnetic, permanent yet removable bumper sticker measures 15 by 3-3/4 inches. It's perfect not only for your car, but for your refrigerator, file cabinet - any magnetic surface where you would like to make a statement.
