LONDON, Thursday Feb 24 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen edging lower on Thursday, down 4 to 9 points, or as much as 0.2 percent on Thursday, according to financial bookmakers, moderately extending a recent sharp sell-off as Wall Street ended off lows and Asia equities saw declines steady.
