The Leading Physicians of the World and the International Association of Internists welcome Frederick N. Lobati, MD, FACP, FACC, to a new standard of leading physicians as a result of his exceptional accomplishments as an internist in the Springfield, Missouri community. With over 20 years serving the Mercy Health System, Dr. Lobati has consistently demonstrated the dedication, excellence, and passion for patient care necessary to be considered among the best during his years in practice.

Dr. Lobati began his career at the University of Cologne in Germany, where he received his medical degree.  He then relocated to the United States to complete an internship at the University of Missouri.  Dr. Lobati then found his niche in infectious disease study, completing an infectious disease fellowship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  The two-year program gives up-and-coming physicians the opportunity to practice in 3 distinct medical facilities.  They then become board eligible for the infectious disease sub-specialty, offered by the American Board of Medicine.  Dr. Lobati is fortunate enough to obtain board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease study.

The Mercy Health System of Missouri is fortunate enough to have Dr. Lobati working in their Clinic in Springfield.  Mercy Health, formerly Mercy St. John’s, serves in over 400 clinics and hospitals all over the Midwest.  By studying infectious diseases, Dr. Lobati helps ward patients against possible contagions and epidemics all across the country.
