J.C. Penney Falls To Loss
J.C. Penney Company Inc. (NYSE: JCP) fell to a larger than expected loss for the first quarter of 75 cents per share compared with earnings of 28 cents per share last year as revenue dropped. Shares of the department store chain plummeted $5.92 to $27.40.
