BOSTON, Aug. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- At a meeting held today, shareholders of Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Diversified Equity Income Fund (NYSE: ETY) and Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Diversified Equity Income Fund (NYSE: EXG) (the "Funds"), each a closed-end investment company, voted to elect Helen Frame Peters, Lynn A. Stout and Ralph F. Verni as Class III Trustees of the Funds, each for a three-year term, as well as Scott E. Eston as Class I Trustee for a one year term and Harriett Tee Taggart as a Class II Trustee for a two year term. The Funds' remaining Class I and Class II Trustees, who serve staggered terms, were not up for election and remain in office.
