For the third straight year, Citi has been rated Number One for Emerging Markets Securities Lending Capability in the Global Investor/ISF annual Equity Lending Survey. Citi also received the Number One ranking in Regional Lending in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
“We’ve made a strong commitment to excellence in securities lending, especially in emerging markets, and are very pleased with these results,” said David Martocci, Global Head of Securities Finance, Citi. “Our scores improved in every category the survey measured.” Martocci noted that Citi’s actual rank improved in 16 of the 19 service categories polled by the magazine. “Leveraging our access to a deep and broad supply base as well as innovative trading strategies is key to delivering successful programs for our clients. This survey reinforces the importance of this approach.”
As part of a suite of investment services delivered through Citi OpenInvestorSM, OpenLend is an award-winning, open architecture securities lending solution that leverages Citi’s global presence and robust risk management controls to help clients achieve their performance objectives.

Relationship management, global focus and breadth of supply differentiate Citi from its peers.”
The Global Investor/ISF Equity Lending Survey, now in its 14th year, measures perceptions of the quality of service provided by lenders to borrowers, and by borrowers to lenders. Citi was benchmarked against 17 peers in the equity lending space.
