First Aid Training Courses Set to Be Offered for Free to the Unemployed
SURREY, ENGLAND, December 09, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Train Aid Ltd has been providing innovative and exciting courses to the business and public domains since their birth in 2009. Their latest initiative starting next spring will be to offer free first aid training courses in Hyde Park, London. The company has decided to reach out to the 100,000's of people who are unemployed within London, and offer them the chance to become first aid trained. It is anticipated that the new scheme will run once a month right through the spring / summer, giving hundreds of people the chance to get qualified for free.

The London community has been hit particularly hard by the recession, which has led to many people finding themselves out of work. Generally people have less money at the end of the month, and subsequently cannot afford extra activities. This comes at a time when more people are being encouraged to get involved with first aid, yet offered no financial aid. Setting up a free course once a month gives people the opportunity to gain certification, and who knows it could lead to more lives being saved.

These types of first aid training courses are traditionally held in a classroom setting. It's just as easy to deliver the training outside however, and with good weather it should make for an exciting and interactive environment. The type of person that the company is looking to attract may not be a traditionalist and it could be their first introduction to any type of training. Being outside can sometimes make people feel more relaxed and more open to learning. Train Aid's policy of practical led courses should also add to the excitement.

The idea wad first devised by Tom Casserly who created the company in 2009. He was on hand to give an insight into his thought process:

"In simple terms more people need an introduction to first aid in the hope to save lives. In times of plenty the government may have been able to subsidise this type of training for the unemployed. However this will not be the case for many years so the hope is that initiatives like this will provide opportunity. We can only offer a small number of these courses as we have a specific business model. However we feel this is a first, and its more than most companies will be doing."

Train Aid Ltd deliver both affordable and enjoyable training courses that place a strong emphasis on teaching practical skills that are relevant to real life.
