Amos, a seven-year veteran of ABC News, leaves her post as Senior Producer of the network's flagship program, "World News with Diane Sawyer," to fill the role.
The new CCO position serves as another step forward in Freshwire's mission to merge the storytelling talents of media, marketing and public relations professionals on behalf of consumer brands' growing need for digital content. She also received an Emmy as part of the team providing field coverage of the 2007 California wildfires.
Prior to joining "World News," Amos worked as an edit room and field producer for "Good Morning America" and the National Desk, where she covered a wide range of captivating and historic stories, including the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the "Miracle on the Hudson" plane crash and the Bernie Madoff scandal.
