United Continental, Delta Rise As Outlook Improves
Airlines surged early Monday on several pieces of news. Most coughed up a fair share of their gains by day's end. But China East Airlines (CEA) ended up ahead more than 6%. SkyWest (SKYW) booked a 4% gain. JetBlue (JBLU) and China South Airlines (ZNH) climbed 3% each. Delta (DAL) jumped 3% in early trade after an upgrade from Dahlman Rose and on its $360 million deal to acquire 49% of Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic. The stock backtracked,
