Stocks Buy More Time For Wobbly Uptrend
Stocks bought more time for a wobbly uptrend as timid volume allowed the bulls to absorb the day's losses. The S&P 500 dropped 1.1%, the NYSE composite 1% and the Nasdaq 0.9%. The small-cap S&P 600 contained its loss to 0.6%. Small caps have gained twice as much as the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 since mid-November. The IBD 50 lost 0.5%.
