PRECIOUS-Gold prices fall as euro hits session lows

*Strong technical resistance at $1,695. LONDON, Jan 23- Gold fell further from this week's one-month high on Wednesday as the euro slid to session lows versus the dollar, with signs of improving global economy, after strong euro area economic figures, capping investors' interest in the metal.
