Stock were mixed, but have worsened in late trading Wednesday. Most indexes are now in negative territory. The Dow Jones industrial average was the worst performer in the stock market today, falling 0.4%. The S&P 500 slipped 0.1% after having touched a new five-year high earlier. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq pared a 0.6% gain to 0.1%. Volume was tracking higher across the board. Walter Investment (WAC) climbed 3% to a one-month high. It's now back to 6%
