Paulus, Sokolowski and Sartor (PS&S), a well-respected architecture and engineering firm in the Northeast, today announced the opening of a new office in Wall Township, Monmouth County, NJ. Located on Route 34, the new regional office is expected to mirror the full service architectural and engineering capabilities currently offered at PS&S headquarters in Warren, NJ.
The company's decision reflects its desire to complete its regional coverage of the Garden State, better serve a growing number of Monmouth County clients, as well as to provide professional growth opportunities for its current employees.
In addition to the PS&S commitment to its Monmouth county clients and employees, this new regional office will enhance PS&S's participation in post-Sandy relief efforts. Those relief efforts began immediately after the Superstorm passed through and are still ongoing in a significant manner. This new office location will enable the company to more efficiently provide on-site evaluations and assessments during the ongoing recovery process.
"We feel a very strong connection to this area," said John Sartor, President and Chief Operating Officer of PS&S. "Our involvement in post-Sandy recovery efforts -- combined with efforts to assist our clients and employees -- made the decision to open an office in Monmouth County fairly easy."
Miguel Salinas, Senior Vice President of Environmental Services, will expand his current responsibilities to promote and guide this new regional office. Mr. Salinas has more than 25 years of experience managing complex engineering and environmental matters.
"Having an office in Monmouth County will allow us better access to the tremendous opportunities that South Jersey has to offer," Mr. Salinas said. "As with any coastal area, there are site specific engineering and environmental needs. We look forward to this exciting new chapter in our effort to support our clients in this region."
Mr. Salinas' extensive environmental background includes understanding the science and regulation of wetlands, waterways, soil, groundwater, wildlife, plants, ecological systems and remediation of contaminated ecosystems. Mr. Salinas is a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS), Licensed Site Remediation Professional in New Jersey (LSRP), Certified Groundwater Hydrologist, Underground Storage Tank Subsurface Evaluator, and a Certified Wetlands Delineator.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Mr. Salinas holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Soil Science and a Master's of Science degree in Soil Science from Louisiana State University (LSU). He later continued his post graduate studies at Wharton School of Business. Mr. Salinas is affiliated with the NJBA Environmental Committee, ULI Executive Committee, ICSC, NAIOP, NJAC committees, NJUA, and was a former president of NJAPSS.
