Most Leading Stocks Fall; SS&C Technologies Dives 10%
Most top-rated stocks fell Thursday as the general market reversed lower, ending a five-day win streak. Software developer SS&C Technologies (SSNC) was the biggest loser, diving 3.39, or 10%, to 30.81 in volume that was a whopping 1,000% above normal. The drop came after the Carlyle Group, SS&C's biggest shareholder, said it will sell half its stake in the financial software developer for $32.20 a share, a 6% discount to Wednesday's closing price.
