Non-Farm Payrolls Beat Expectations But Unemployment Rate Ticks Up Unexpectedly as Labor Force Grows
Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 175 thousand in May, and the unemployment rate was essentially unchanged at 7.6 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
