On Tuesday telecommunications company, AT&T Inc. (T) announced the release date for the upcoming Blackberry Q10.
AT&T will begin selling the new phone on June 21. The cost of the new smartphone will be $199.99 with a two year plan which is the same price as all other carriers that offer the phone. Both Verizon (VZ) and T mobile have been offering the phone for over two weeks.
The news comes after analysts have been estimating numbers based on performance in Europe and other markets where the Q10 is already available.
The Z10 device was released earlier this year, but many Blackberry fans have been anticipating a keyboard-equipped Q10.
AT&T shares were mostly flat during premarket trading Wednesday. The stock is up 7% YTD.
