Indexes Bounce Back After Recent Weakness; HomeAway Soars
Major averages finished with decent gains Tuesday as worries about Fed tapering and a credit crunch in China faded, at least for a day. Positive sentiment was helped by comments from two Fed officials Monday that downplayed the impact of scaling back the Fed's monthly bond-buying program. The S&P 500 outperformed, rising 1%.
