A Muslim website has posted a videotape of a blindfolded man identifying himself as hostage Paul Johnson, which includes a terrorist saying the American will be killed in 72 hours if the abductors' demands are not met.

Johnson, 49, of Stafford Township, N.J., who works for Lockheed Martin, has been missing in Saudi Arabia since Saturday.

According to CNN, Johnson was shown from the front and the side, and his shirt was torn to expose a tattoo on his left shoulder. What appeared to be a bandage was wrapped around his forehead, and when he was shown from the side, there also appeared to be a bandage around his neck. Also displayed was his Lockheed Martin identification card.

A masked man spoke on the video, identifying himself as Abdul Aziz al-Muqrin. Al Muqrin claims to be the military leader of al-Qaida in Saudi Arabia.

The terrorist, brandishing a rifle, says if al-Qaida prisoners held in Saudi Arabia are not freed within 72 hours and Westerners don't leave the Arabian Peninsula, Johnson will be killed.

On Saturday, CNN reported, a group calling itself the Falluja Squadron posted a statement signed by the al-Qaida group of the Arab Peninsula on the website Voice of Jihad. The statement claimed to have taken an American hostage.

The statement said: "We have our legal right to treat [hostages] the same way they treat our people. We will publish more details about the man kidnapped and explain the mujahedeen's demands."
