Jihadis apparently taking a page from American efforts have launched an Internet fund-raising effort.

The posting requests funds be sent to the Arab Bank in Gaza for use in jihad efforts throughout the "Islamic Ummah," or worldwide community.

A copy of the translation, below, has been sent to authorities.

The Jihad Donation Campaign

My generous brothers, we call upon you join in the jihad in the jihad donations campaign; do not deprive yourself of the price and the reward

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Jihad Donation Campaign

You, my Muslim brothers:

From each of us according to what we can give in support of this blessed uprising. Each of us he contributes what he can from his salary for its support. We have started this fund-raising campaign for our brothers, the mujahideen in Palestine, and all money raised will be required to be used for Jihad. For Allah above said: "fight hard in Allah's name with your money and your work" Qu'ran, Surah: The Repentence, Verse 41. Each of us must exert ourselves to give what we can so that we can encourage our brothers to give what they do.

Those who can donate anything from their money, and who can sacrifice anything for this cause, will be recorded in the account of Allah, the Exalted, the Majestic.

We ask that all contribute as much as possible so we can meet the following goals:

1. This nation [the Islamic nation or Ummah] is one nation as was ordered by Allah, the Exalted, the Majestic; we are not nations who wish to be colonized.

2. Believer to believer, as we strengthen those who need help

3. Those who are prostrate, alone, for if one part of the body suffers then all suffer from fever and respond to care.

We ask Allah, glory be to Him, that he make this pure, and that we fight for his sake, and to promoting this effort and moving this nation [Ummah] until it achieves all that it can: "Work; so Allah will see your work and (so will) His Apostle and the believers; and you shall be brought back to the Knower of the unseen and the seen, then He will inform you of what you did." Qu'ran, Surah: The Repentence, Verse 105
