America the colonized

America is being settled and colonized by a foreign power. Moreover, by one that is weak both militarily and economically. How is this possible?

In the last quarter century, tens of millions of Mexican nationals have simply crossed the border and occupied vast areas of the Southwest United States. Millions more have fanned out across America. Unlike every single previous influx of immigrants, these millions have insisted on transplanting their culture, language and mores onto the American landscape. Far from assimilation, it is more like imposition – more like conquest.

One need look no further than the thousands of Mexican flags waved at the first nationwide demonstrations, before worried re-conquistadors had them largely removed for the second day of marches. But was anyone fooled?

No precedent for this phenomenon exists since the country was born in 1776. No previous generation of Americans has allowed this to happen. No leadership until now has shown itself to be so craven and cowardly in the face of this occupation.

The political elites in Mexico boast openly that they have been able to reconquer the territories lost to the United States in 1846 without firing a shot. They have not needed uniformed soldiers, tanks and air forces. They are well on their way to achieving their revanchist goals by fostering, encouraging, aiding and abetting the mass migration of 20 percent of their population across their northern border – with no end in sight. Moreover, they have succeeded in doing so by portraying the migrants themselves as victims – not their victims, but the victims of the country they have illegally occupied. Was ever a sleight of hand so skillfully and grandly played?

Of course, as is being well aired on talk radio and op-ed pages, none of this would have happened if political and business elites in this country were not reaping billions of dollars in the bargain. The sellout of America's sovereignty, security and tranquility by this plutocracy and their hired hands on Capitol Hill is perhaps the greatest collective betrayal of a people in modern history and ranks with Benedict Arnold in the Infamy Hall of Fame.

The Heritage Foundation has just completed an exhaustive report, showing how the Senate's current amnesty proposals, if enacted into law, would add at least 100 million additional foreigners to the United States within 20 years. As we know from experience, most of these new settlers would be Mexican. Within 20 years then, Mexico would have achieved not just its century long dream of reconquista – it would have captured and colonized America itself.
