Ford backs homosexual polygamy

Pro-family groups are chastising the Ford Motor Company for advertising in an edition of a 'gay' magazine pressing for homosexual polygamy.

The cover story of the June 6 edition of The Advocate reads: "Polygamy & Gay Men. Dirty laundry or sexual freedom?"

One year ago, the American Family Association and about 20 other groups began a boycott of Ford over the auto giant's support of the homosexual agenda. At the request of several Ford dealerships, AFA suspended the boycott while it dialogued with the company.

In December, Ford announced it would stop advertising in homosexual magazines, but several days later reversed course after hearing complaints from the homosexual community.

AFA chairman Donald E. Wildmon says Ford's support of homosexual polygamy is "no surprise."

He points out that in responding to individuals concerning the company's support of the homosexual lifestyle, Ford says it "is a strong commitment we intend to carry forward with no exception."

One of Ford's ads in the homosexual publication has a caption reading: "Ford Motor Company. Standing strong with America's families. …"

"Ford has abandoned any pretense of being neutral in the homosexual marriage debate. They are going for the whole ball of wax, including homosexual polygamy," Wildmon said.
