Saddam Hussein is being forced to watch a cartoon version of himself have a homosexual relationship with Satan the devil in the movie version of "South Park."

That according to Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of the animated series, who spoke at the Edinburgh International Television Festival.

Parker and Stone say U.S. Marines are making the ousted Iraqi dictator watch the episode "repeatedly."

"I have it on pretty good information from the Marines on detail in Iraq that they showed him the movie," Stone said, according to the Sun newspaper. "That's really adding insult to injury. I bet that made him really happy."

Saddam is portrayed in "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut" as the devil's homosexual lover. The film, which features Saddam and Satan trying to take over the world, was banned in Iraq when it debuted in 1999 for characterizing Hussein as a homosexual.

Stone and Parker also confirmed earlier reports that actor Tom Cruise threatened to withdraw from all publicity for "Mission Impossible III" unless Paramount, the maker of "South Park," canceled a repeat showing of an episode making fun of Cruise and his ties to Scientology.

Comedy Central at first succumbed to the threat, but then did an about face, and rebroadcast the Emmy-nominated program containing the constant refrain, "Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet."

"If they hadn't put this episode back on the air, we'd have had serious issues, and we wouldn't be doing anything else with them," Stone told Variety.
