"The Money Masters: How Banks Create the World's Money," an extraordinary two-DVD video documentary that reveals the secrets of the Federal Reserve, has been picked to head the best-sellers list this week at Shop.WND.com.

The 3 ?-hour historical presentation shows how there have been many with suspicions that the system that controls America's money also controls the nation far more than most people realize.

Thomas Jefferson had expressed concern that the influence of those who control a nation's monetary system was greater than those who control the weapons.

"I sincerely believe ... that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale," he said.

"Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce," added President James A. Garfield.

The special feature covers monetary reform from Roman times to the present, and Robert Caroll, of Humane World Community, Inc., called it "the best video yet on the history of the Federal Reserve and the mysterious disappearance of America's gold reserves."

In second is Jerome Corsi's new book, "The Late Great USA," described by noted author Hal Lindsey as a revelation of "a powerful elite who want to undermine our sovereignty before we realize it."

The issues raised in the book – including the possible merger of the nations of the continent into a North American Union – certainly are key right now, with President Bush just returning from meeting with the leaders of Canada and Mexico for a summit on the trilateral Security and Prosperity Partnership, which is being used to smooth the transition of goods and people across international boundaries.

That plan was launched by the leaders of the three nations in March 2005, but has been described by opponents as a major step forward in what appears to be an effort to unify the three nations.

In remarks that were reported as the meeting got under way in Canada, Stephen Dion, the nation's opposition leader, warned of the coming integration of nations and said it now is time "to stop the negotiations from drifting into U.S. control."

Corsi's book provides the documentation for the claims of a merger plan. He notes that the elites in Europe who wanted to create a European nation knew that "it would be necessary to conceal from the peoples of Europe just what was being done in their name until the process was so far advanced that it had become irreversible."

Using dozens of documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, Corsi sets out a chilling view of America's possible "harmonized" future – one being created covertly, without voter input or Congressional oversight.

"Dr. Corsi has 'connected the dots' between the Security and Prosperity Partnership, the sale of toll roads and other infrastructure to foreign companies, and proposals for a North American Union with open borders between Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. 'The Late Great U.S.A.' is an essential read for anyone concerned about the future independence and sovereignty of the United States," said Phyllis Schlafly, the president of Eagle Forum.

In third place is "Marketing of Evil," by David Kupelian, WND's managing editor, in which he describes the efforts to promote abortion, body-piercing, homosexuality, and other issues that Americans of a generation ago would have considered evil.

But today, instead, such issues are "sold" to the public through intensive marketing campaigns that play on the national values of fairness, generosity and tolerance.

"For example, few of us realize that the widely revered father of the 'sexual revolution' has been irrefutable exposed as a full-fledged psychopath who encouraged pedophilia," the book says. "Or that giant corporations voraciously competing for America's $150 billion teen market routinely infiltrate young people's social groups to find out how better to lead children into ever more debauched forms of 'authentic self-expression.'"

"David Kupelian dares to tell the truth about the overwhelming forces in our society which take us far away from our original American concept of freedom with responsibility, happiness with commitments, and traditional values," said Laura Schlessinger, talk-show host and author. "'The Marketing of Evil' is a serious wake-up call for all who cherish traditional values, the innocence of children, and the very existence of our great country."

"If you want to solidify your Christian worldview – or just understand what the culture war is all about – you owe it yourself to read David Kupelian's 'The Marketing of Evil,'" said Donald E. Wildmon, of the American Family Association.
