A young woman was knocked unconscious in a violent attack by strangers on a London bus.
CCTV footage released by police shows the 22-year-old victim sitting at the back of the bus, which was travelling through south-east London, when a group of five men got on board and sat down nearby. Images captured by the camera shows members of the group harrassing her.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “One man then poured a can of drink over the victim and pulled her hair. She got up from her seat, but was pushed and then kicked in the stomach. The victim fell to the floor of the bus and was unconscious.”
She was taken to hospital with a head injury after the attack, which happened on a 344 bus in Lambeth at 1.15am on August 29, and was released later that day.
