The new TSA: Machines out, groping still in

The Transportation Security Administration has finished removing controversial body scanners from airports across the US. The Rapidscan X-ray machines attracted criticism because they allowed TSA agents to see through the clothes of airline passengers, putting the privacy for millions of Americans at risk every day. However, don’t expect the TSA’s most invasive measure of direct bodily contact to end anytime soon.
