Florida-Baskerville-28The Sunshine state accepted 1,612 refugees. They probably had no trouble adjusting to the heat because the bulk of them came from Syria (24 percent) or the Congo (20 percent). No other single nationality accounted for more than 9 percent of Florida’s refugees.
