WASHINGTON -- Civil rights activists, community organizers and concerned citizens plan to rally together today, Martin Luther King's birthday, in front of the Justice Department for a prayer vigil and demonstration to "expose the cover-up of Ron Brown's death."
"We are encouraging every American, in memory of Dr. King and the dream and truth which he spoke about, to join with us in front of the Justice Department to show our outrage with Janet Reno for not properly investigating Ron Brown's death," said Dick Gregory.

Reno announced recently that her office found "no evidence" criminal wrongdoing in Brown's death.
"How could she make such a statement?' Gregory asked. He noted that none of the three pathologists and military officers who have claimed the Brown head wound looked like it might have been caused by a gunshot were ever interviewed.
Gregory plans to declare the Justice Department itself a "crime scene" by placing yellow police crime tape across the building's entrance.
