Coming this weekend to L.A.!

A White House employee, Sheryl Hall, is being called “the first John
Dean-type” to blow the whistle on the Clinton White House by Judicial
Watch.

In a release posted on its website, the non-profit, non-partisan organization
announced that it is representing Hall in her suit in the U.S. District
Court for the Eastern District of Virginia against Hillary Clinton and
others for harassing her after she refused to violate laws preventing
the political use of the WhoDB “Big Brother” Database.

The computer system has been called the brainchild of Mrs. Clinton
and, charges Judicial Watch, was used to illegally track and solicit
campaign contributions with the Democratic National Committee and
probably to input the FBI files of Republicans and others in the
Filegate scandal.

Judicial Watch points out that, in deciding to be represented by the
organization, Hall has put her trust in a public interest, non-partisan
government watchdog, rather than in the Clinton Justice Department or
Congress, “who have either covered up wrongdoing or have done little to
combat it during the Clinton administration.” “Thank God for true
Americans like Sheryl and Don Hall, patriots who put their country first
and are not afraid of the evil lurking in this White House,” said
Judicial Watch Chairman Larry Klayman.

Klayman’s use of the Internet to publicize how a watchdog
organization can use the law to expose government scandals is just one
of dozens of examples of how the New Media are making a difference in
America’s future, the theme of WorldNetDaily’s first-ever conference to
be held Sept. 17-19 in Los Angeles. Titled, “The New Media to America’s
Rescue,” the conference will bring together such New Media stars as
Klayman; Bill Gertz, Washington Times correspondent and the author of
“Betrayal: How the Clinton Administration Undermined American Security”;
Joseph Farah, WorldNetDaily founder and editor; Rep. James Rogan, the
young folk hero of the House impeachment proceedings; J.R. Nyquist, the
WorldNetDaily columnist who has captivated Internet readers and
talk-radio listeners alike with his analysis of the world crisis and
radio talk-show hosts, and WorldNetDaily columnists Geoff Metcalf and
Jane Chastain.

“This will be the shot heard ’round the world in 1999,” said Farah.
“Somebody said the Internet is the musket of the 21st century. I say it
is the Stinger missile. And this conference could be the Continental
Congress of the future. It will be participatory. It will be
interactive. It will be a chance to talk about how we can affect real
change as our country faces seemingly insurmountable hurdles.”

The conference will kick off Friday night, Sept. 17, with a VIP
cocktail party followed by Saturday’s all-day program of speakers and a
ceremony at which Bill Gertz will be presented with an award for
excellence in investigative journalism. On Sunday, Sept. 19, the
conference will close with a champagne brunch and question-and-answer
session with Bill Gertz and other speakers. To make participation
possible for the greatest number of people, WorldNetDaily is offering
three levels of attendance:

  • For $50 you may attend either Friday night’s or Sunday morning’s
    social events.

  • For $139 you get Saturday’s packed all-day program of speakers — the
meat of the conference — plus a gala luncheon and morning refreshments.

  • For $169 you get to attend all three days’ events: Friday’s VIP
cocktail party, Saturday’s all-day program with gala lunch and morning
refreshments and Sunday morning’s champagne brunch and
question-and-answer session with Bill Gertz. Plus you also get a copy of
    Gertz’s best-selling book, “Betrayal.”

For those who want to commute each day, parking at $10 a day is
available in the Hilton Universal’s underground parking lot. For those
who wish to stay over Friday or Saturday night, a special conference
rate is available of just $133 per room, per night.

The Universal Hilton is a renowned luxury hotel almost unique in
being within walking distance of many of Los Angeles’ most famous
restaurants and attractions. The hotel is also convenient for those
flying in because it’s just minutes away from Burbank airport.
