If you didn't catch a couple of WND reports yesterday (both a news
item
and accompanying commentary)
written by editor Joseph Farah, you should click on these links and read
them now.
The crux of both reports is this: The federal government is using our
tax money -- no, their surplus of our tax money -- to fund
research into developing "the proper methods of using human embryos in
an effort to minimize the need for toxicological testing on animals."

In other words, under the PC guise of fetal "tissue" stem cell
"research," the federal government is -- through the use of our tax
money -- officially sanctioning experimentation of new medical
techniques on human beings.
I know what you liberals are thinking before you even say it:
"'Embryos' are not human beings, so you're blowing this up out of
nothing. How can you experiment on human beings if they're not human
beings yet?"

I'll answer your question with another question: "If they're not
human, then what -- if left to mature -- would they grow to become?" It
was never about "what form" they're taking now; it's
always been about what they were designed to be. Humans
are humans at any stage of development.
It is an act of mass lunacy that millions of Americans -- that
pampered, complacent, and overly indulged race -- actually believe that
animals are more important, if not as important, as human
beings. They don't seem to understand that animals are not our
equals; that is just an illusion created by liberal, idle and complacent
Americans who haven't got anything else better to do with their time or
their money.

But whatever. If it's private philanthropy, that's their
business. However, when the government spends money, it's our
money and therefore it's our business. And I would bet that most
people, if they knew about this, would never sanction it.
My belief is that if we don't stop this absurdity now, there
will come a day, during most of our lives, that research on fully
developed babies or human beings will not only become legal but
habitual. People will justify it as they are already justifying
it: "Just think of all the wonderful things we can 'discover' if we can
use real human beings!"
The reality, however, is that some things are just not meant to be.
Joe Farah is right: If we dare to demonize Nazi human experimenter Dr.
Mengele, then we would be criminally hypocritical not to demonize
our own government for supporting a variant of the same kind of
research.
Our taxes were never intended for these kinds of uses. If
Uncle Sam has so much of our money now that he can spend it on monstrous
initiatives like human embryo research, then I say Sammy has too damned
much and ought to be sending it back where it came from -- our
pockets.
There are many elections coming up later this year. If you care about
this issue and are, like me, afraid of where it will eventually lead,
then I ask you -- I urge you -- to address this with your
candidates. If they support it, then maybe we don't need to support
them.
