I didn’t know I worked for a highly subversive and dangerous
organization until I read editor Joseph Farah’s column
yesterday. Heck, I just thought I was a reporter and columnist; little
did I know that I’m a dubious right-wing extremist whose only goal is to
churn out reams of zealously conservative propaganda intended to feed a
vast conspiracy dedicated to bringing down the federal government.
But according to petty spy Mark Pitcavage of Columbus, Ohio, that’s
all I do here. Hell, that’s all anyone does here.
Mark, let me clear something up for you — I’m dedicated to bringing
Bill and Hillary Clinton, along with a scad of other “bipartisan”
participants in government, down if they need to be, or should
be, brought down. The fact that my government is paying
you to spy on me, WND and anyone else just proves my point that
this leviathan called the federal government has gone far beyond the
borders of constitutional power. And it should be brought down if
it can’t behave itself. The governors serve at the behest and consent of
the governed in this country — or didn’t they teach you that in school,
you “historian” you?
But this same mission extends also to a George W. Bush, a Pat
Buchanan, an Al Gore or anyone else who occupies the highest elected
offices in our land — if they use those offices for illegal,
irresponsible and selfishly enriching purposes. That’s what a
responsible journalist is supposed to do — keep the heat on “them.”
In fact, I’m all for bringing down the idiot who decided you were
worth $2 million of our hard-earned money. The federal government has no
right, no mandate, and no legal recourse to pay you or anyone else to
spy on me. Having said that, from the looks of your photo in Joe’s
column yesterday, you’ve eaten most of that $2 million. Or do Internet
photos just make you look bigger?
Yes, we’re all precarious, conspiratorial, “right-wing” individuals
around here, Mark. Just ask Lenora Fulani about her “vast right-wing”
connections; she’ll be glad to tell you about them.
And our new columns editor, Claire Wolfe, is demonstrably nothing
more than a Republican mind-controlled robot. Yes, she often writes
swimmingly about our “honest” conservative brethren in D.C. You bet.
Then there is Joe himself — the grand “right-wing” ringmaster of
this cabal of subversives. Hailing from the liberal print newspaper
business and anti-Vietnam War marches, his “vast right-wing” connections
span decades, I’m sure.
Mark, you’re a goofball — pure and simple — and I am greatly
offended that this administration has so graciously handed over so much
of our tax money to the likes of you. You’re a disgrace to the American
people and the American way of life.
But I’m not surprised by it, mind you. No, this administration has an
acute and documentable history of spending our resources on petty spies
like you.
Those of us who are law-abiding Americans, though, want to thank you
for regularly providing updates of our “subversive” activities to law
enforcement personnel. We really appreciate your concern for our
welfare.
We’re glad you give fact-based, precision analysis of the kind
demonstrated in Joe’s article to federal and local cops of the kind who
killed women and children at Waco, shot a mother with a baby in arms at
Ruby Ridge, Idaho, and who have made numerous “mistakes” by rushing
through doors of suspected drug dealers at two in the morning, killing
them and then finding out later they had the wrong guys.
Yeah, you’re doing real important work there, Mark. How
can we ever thank you enough?
It’s not so much that our own government actually listens to these
kinds of buffoons. What else is new? Every tyrannical — or would-be
tyrannical — society has its share of “neighborhood watch” spies. The
lure of a quasi-government position with its quasi-power structure is
time-tested and time-honored among our elite, who usually use these
idiots until they don’t need them anymore — then cut them off.
Guys like Pitcavage, though, never think their
government would do that to them, though. They’ve bought the propaganda
bit hook, line and sinker — especially when they’re paid off with
millions of dollars.
Kind of like a whore, only this time our own government is the pimp.
Proud, Mark?
Words like dignity, honor, respect, and loyalty take on new meanings
when Uncle Sam dangles tax money in your face — at least for guys like
Pitcavage.
What is so dangerous about this discovery though, is what we
don’t know — how many more petty “spies like us” are out there?
One can only guess, but you can bet they are there. Pitcavage is
just one of them, albeit probably one of the most expensive ones.
I can only hope that lots of congressmen, Justice Department
officials, and anyone with a conscience in government read Joe’s
revelation yesterday and are bothered enough to actually do
something about it. Chances are this administration is having many of
you folks watched too. How Nixonian, eh, Hillary?
In the meantime, may WND and lots of other free press alternatives
grow like weeds in a yard, choking out the “grass” of the mainstream
press and demonizing errorheads like Pitcavage. At least that way, most
Americans will not only come to understand how important a free press
really is, but why it’s important — to shed the light of
scrutiny on the jerks, idiots, lawbreakers, rights abusers and
tyrants-to-be who would dare to ascend to a position of leadership over
a free people.
That’s why Pitcavage and his government masters hate
us; I dare say Americans would never have heard about the antics
of this large misinformant anywhere else the printed word
thrives.
