The press has made much about Republican efforts to reach out to
Americans who haven’t felt “wanted” by the GOP in the past. Yet in
spite of asking Republicans to do just that for years, the liberal press
now accuses the GOP of opportunism. I guess the liberals are afraid of
a world that they can’t paint in black and white terms.
This week’s convention is the clearest evidence that conservatives
have finally figured out the obvious. Nothing good can happen unless Al
Gore loses. Now, as the election looms closer, the party of Lincoln has
decided to reclaim its position as the party that represents most
Americans.
What has been neat about the GOP convention is that most of the
speakers are not professional politicians. They have invited them to
speak because of what they have accomplished, not because of what office
they hold. Things will be much different in two weeks. The Democrats
are a party of professional politicians and those who enjoy spending
other people’s money. You can bet your bottom dollar that their
convention will be a parade of politicians. It also will be a sham.
In two weeks, the Democrat party convention in Los Angeles will look
much different from the Republican convention that just ended. When the
cameras scan the convention floor, you will see Democrat delegates of
every shade and hue of the rainbow. The Democrats will claim that this
is visual proof that Americans of color prefer their party.
The sad reality, however, is that the picture you see will be a
well-planned lie. Because, my friend, the Democrats have a racial quota
system that forces each state to have “racially representative”
delegations or else. If each state were free to send delegates based
upon their level of party activism, many of the “colored” faces wouldn’t
be there. However, since the Democrats can’t win without the
“coloreds,” they will use black, Hispanic and Asian faces like paintings
on the wall or animals in a zoo.
As you look at those smiling faces, ask this question. Do Democrats
of color have any real power? If you look at what Al and Billy did over
the past seven-plus years, the answer is clear. People of color are
just campaign props for Democrats. They do not now nor have they ever
had any real political power. Let me give you two examples.
The whole world knows that if Colin Powell had wanted it, he would be
Gov. Bush’s running mate. Who is the Democrat’s Colin Powell? Surely
not Henry Cisneros, the adulterous liar. In fact, no Democrat of color
is being considered seriously for the VP slot.
Think about the images of Al and Bill’s closest advisors during the
past seven-plus years. You won’t see any of the black, brown or yellow
faces of the convention. In fact, you won’t even see many women. I
have no problem with them picking the people that they believe best
represent their party. After all, I think James “the snake” Carville is
a perfect example of what it means to be a Democrat. What I do resent,
however, is their trotting out Democrats of color every four years for
the TV, and then sending them back to their liberal plantations with
nothing more than memories and postcards.
I wish that Democrats of color would demand more of their party than
to be used as window dressing. I wish that Democrats of color would
demand that their party do more than just talk. I wish that Democrats
of color had more self-respect than to buy the dehumanizing affirmative
action lie that has so harmed America’s perception of the intellectual
capability of our citizens of color.
If Al Gore and his party of panderers are serious about “diversity,”
Big Al will pick a Hispanic, Asian or African American vice-presidential
candidate. That will say in unmistakable terms that they are not
immoral opportunists.
Don’t hold your breath.
I know Al Gore and his ilk. Like millions of other Americans, I used
to be a Democrat until the stench of a party that worshipped at the
altar of murdered babies forced me out. I used to be a Democrat until
the white racism of liberals forced me out. I used to be a Democrat
until their anti-God, anti-family, anti-capitalism, anti-hard work,
anti-success socialist policies forced me out.
Mark my words. You will see a moving mosaic of faces at the Demo’s
convention in Los Angeles. Ignore your eyes and use your head. The
images you see will be meaningless. The black, brown and yellow faces
are stage props. They are not on the convention floor because they
earned their way in their way. They are there to fool America.
We are nearing the end of eight years of moral depravity and abuse of
power of the most sickening form. It is not surprising, I guess, that
the people who brought you Bill Clinton and Henry Cisneros end with a
convention that insults all Americans of substance. It will be yet
another crime against humanity, however, if we allow them to get away
with it again in November.
