Editor’s note: The following was submitted to WorldNetDaily.com as
a letter to the editor, but we found it so insightful and provocative
that we decided to publish it as a guest commentary.
I can’t stand the lies anymore. I have to speak out.
I can’t stand the hypocrisy I see on television every night as we
approach the election. It’s not just the gross hypocrisy of the
Clinton/Gore/Lieberman campaign talking about morality and tradition
while they line their pockets with Hollywood money, and while they
undermine tradition in the military. It’s not just that.
It’s the power behind them that scares me the most — the culture —
the chief liar that supports Bill Clinton and politicians like him, a
soulless force which for years has been leading America over a cliff,
growing more and more powerful in the process.
This lying, hypocritical culture pretends to entertain and inform the
people, while instead it paves the way to our destruction. … And the
way is smooth.
I am a victim of the lying culture, and I am not alone. There are
many millions of Americans like me, young and old, people who listened
to the sex-revolution culture of their youth only to wake up in their
20s or 30s and realize the horror of the lie.
So we start to turn our personal lives around; we do what we can to
heal ourselves and our families, while we watch amazed as the next
generation is told the very same lies that corrupted us. The culture is
a killing machine. It doesn’t stop — it grinds us down. We are all
victims of the machine, which makes a fortune at our expense, generation
after generation, lie after lie.
The Democrats are right. It is “the people versus the powerful,” but
the powerful are the corrupters in our society who would sell their
sisters into prostitution if the price were right. They would send their
daughters into combat to suit their feminist agenda. They would keep gay
bathhouses open, supporting anonymous sex, even in the face of AIDS
because ideology is more important to them than reality. So what if
young gay men die. So what if the American military is becoming a joke.
Meanwhile our sons die alone in despair, their youth sapped from their
bodies. Meanwhile our daughters go like lambs to the slaughter (along
with millions of unborn children), sacrificed to the whims of the
feminist crones. Gender lies — sex lies — love lies — it doesn’t
stop. We are all victims of the lying culture.
Meanwhile, the political class manipulates our confusion about the
gender traditions of marriage and raising children. The Democrats are
especially guilty of this. Did you know the Democrats were afraid that
the new moral tone set early in the 2000 campaign would upset the
balance? What balance, you ask? The Washington Post revealed the secret
last August. Many Democrats feared that the Gore/Lieberman “moral”
crusade would upset an important new voting block, one that Democrats
had been cultivating for years — “support built up over three decades
among millions of voters who fall outside the scope of the traditional
nuclear family — single mothers, gays, the divorced,” explained the
Washington Post.
There you go. You didn’t know that our personal life choices have
become a voting block, did you? What if those choices are
self-destructive? What if divorce turns out to be harmful to children?
(That’s proven, by the way.) Do you think that the politicians will tell
the truth to their new “dependable voting block?” No, they just want our
votes. They don’t care about our health and happiness. If it would win
them office, they’d run a campaign based on legalizing heroin. “It’s
your right to do drugs — I’ll fight for that right in Washington. You
can count on me.” Sure, go to Washington. Find your power groove. Who
cares how many dead bodies you leave behind!
You can assume that Gore/Lieberman/Clinton are doing everything they
can to push the right buttons in these millions of Americans who have
suffered (as I have) from mistakes in their lives. We are not just
victims of the lie. We are victims of the politicians who take advantage
of our weaknesses — they are the fox in the movie, “Pinocchio,” leading
us to a cultural Pleasure Island where we will be made into donkeys. But
they don’t care because they get what they want — they get power.
Any country suffering social breakdown can save itself by realizing
its moral mistakes and correcting them. However, most of America’s
political class has long since abdicated “loving leadership” and is now
using our corruption to influence us, even turning us against each
other. This kind of lying manipulation is everywhere in our culture as
well — in fact, it started there. For the sake of money and power, and
personal social agendas, the culture taught us to accept all sorts of
self-destructive behaviors — and promised no penalty. From “free love”
to drugs to abortion to no-fault divorce, we were taught to rebel
against the old ways. We got what we wanted, and now, generation after
generation pays a terrible price. Individuals speak up, but not with any
unified voice, and meanwhile our children die, or have their lives
ruined.
Things must change. The sleeper must awaken. It’s time to fight the
power.
When I think of the lies I was told as a teenager and the horrible
mistakes I made as a result of those lies, it makes me furious. The
“lie” changed my whole life, and I am left wondering what could have
been. Teenagers in this era don’t have a chance unless someone in
political power really loves them. Right now, it seems like no one does.
Maybe a new administration will be honest with us. … Maybe. It means
losing votes.
Here’s some straight talk you’ll never hear from politicians in
Washington: The culture is a child molester corrupting our children, and
the sexual behavior it sanctions causes tragedy. If you think gun
violence is a problem, you don’t know the half of it. Three million
teenagers get sexually transmitted diseases every year. Did you know
that? And some of those diseases don’t go away. And some of them kill.
Hollywood forgot to mention that fact in their summer sex movies. Some
STDs stick with you long after the “movie is over and the lights go on.”
You live with Herpes, HPV or HIV until you die. Every year there are a
million new cases of HPV (Human Papillomavirus) — causing horrible
warts on the genitals and hugely increasing the chances of cancer — one
million people a year infected permanently with just one of the many
STDs.
Damn the hidden persuaders who pretend to entertain us while they
lead us to destruction and despair. Their money is blood money, and
their treachery will cause the collapse of their own country.
Lives of quiet desperation are everywhere around us, but not on TV.
Life is good on TV — all the women are “babes” and all the men are
“hunks.” Blow-up dolls, ready to go. Hollywood just keeps on pumping out
“sex-rebel” messages every summer — in fact, all year round. “Sex is
fun, no problem — enjoy it — or try oral sex as a substitute?
Everybody does it.” So off we go to Pleasure Island and our ears start
to get furry, and we snort and stamp our feet. “Teen sex problems —
news at 11.”
Did you know that 50 percent of teens have had sex by 17? It’s not
about making love, it’s about “making hate.” With or without condoms,
our boys and girls use each other sexually — in every possible way —
while they grow in mutual contempt. According to the PBS Frontline
documentary, “The Lost Children of Rockdale County,” by the time these
teens attend college — if they get that far — many don’t even date,
they’re so full of anger at the opposite sex. And then guess what?
Advertisers use that same anger to sell them something else. Sex isn’t
the only thing that sells. Contempt sells too. Contempt for women sells
beer. Contempt for men sells anything (women do most of the buying).
Just watch the ads on TV. They will tell you everything you need to
know. Advertisers understand us better than we understand ourselves —
it’s their job.
The young are being led down a path of destruction, and “the
powerful” are making money from this outrage. They are the liars and
manipulators, and Al Gore is their current leader. He is one of them.
Take your blood money from Hollywood, Vice President Gore, and close
your ears to the sound of children crying, as their lives are consumed
in this sexual holocaust. Lieberman can’t absolve your guilt; it’s your
legacy of corruption. You could have rejected immorality when it was
grossly obvious in the White House. What an ugly example! Experts know
that oral sex transmits HIV — but all teens know is that it feels good.
And that the president did it with an intern.
And you, Sen. Lieberman, do you think your moral pronouncements give
you moral authority? Your words mean nothing without action, and when
you could have acted, you did nothing. Clinton’s sexual horrors are
barely understood by the public. But you knew. You knew the issue wasn’t
just about sex. It was about subverting the legal system. But on top of
that, you knew the sex in question wasn’t “just sex.” It was a
monstrous betrayal — it was contemptuous sex, irresponsible,
exhibitionist, madly kinky sex. It was true perversion, a mentality that
revels in outrageous behavior — that spits in the face of love.
This was “sex” expressed to corrupt the White House and the memory of
great presidents who worked in the oval office. This was sex expressed
to mock congressmen on the phone (during sex), to mock the military
during sex (discussions of troop movements), to mock national security
(phone sex that compromised the presidency). And finally, it was sex
that mocked faith (on Easter Sunday after church with the family). If
the intern scandal was really “just about sex,” then the O.J. Simpson
trial was just about marital problems.
No, there are evil impulses at work here. Just look at Bill Clinton’s
smirky picture on the cover of the December Esquire magazine, jacket
open, legs spread wide — crotch in your face. Just listen to him call
on Republicans to “apologize” for impeaching him. It’s beyond outrage
and Clinton knows it. In fact, that’s the whole point.
Clinton’s sexual behavior demonstrated deep personal problems of the
kind that subvert nations. The Democrats knew that, but they also knew
that if they took it seriously, the public would then understand the
horror of it. The people would then see that the impeachment trial was
about gross perversion, irresponsibility, lying, lawbreaking, and open
contempt for justice — an ultimate betrayal of America. This wouldn’t
have been good for the party. So the Democrats called it a mistake. “The
people” looked away, and “the powerful” were protected. The Clinton crew
is still dissembling, but historians will write history, not White House
aides or Democratic candidates.
The Democrats lied, not just with their words, but with their oaths
in Congress. They lied in their interviews, debates, and in their public
statement; they let their staffers lie, too. In fact, they lied with the
whole of their being — just like Clinton did. This was not a victimless
crime. It was a rape — and America may never be the same.
It is the people versus the powerful. It’s the people versus the sick
culture, the lying culture that feeds on our children. The agents of
this culture are everywhere. They call for “tolerance,” hoping Americans
will think that means they love us. But there is no love without truth,
as any child knows. Millions of teenagers are crying out for real love.
What has been done for them? Nothing! They are victims of the lie. I
know — I’ve been there.
Who am I? It doesn’t matter what my family name is or where I come
from. I could be writing to you from a prison cell or from a cabin in
the woods, or even from some cloistered college campus full of leftists
who hate America and don’t know what I really think. (I’d lose tenure if
they did.) I could be famous or a complete unknown. I could be 25 years
old or 45. You can’t put me in a box. All I care is that you hear me.
And all you need to know is that, like you, I suffered under the yoke of
the lying, perverted culture. Then I woke up — and I am not going down
without a fight. You can call me a radical, but if you understand this
letter, then so are you. I won’t be lied to anymore! And I won’t shut up
about it. I got out of the insanity — and with this letter, I’m coming
back for you.
I will deliver the message. And this is it: We are being lied to —
constantly misled by the powerful. It is killing us all, and it has
been going on for a long time. There is hope if we can face up to our
mistakes, and come back together. It is time to make a stand.
Join the new underground and resist the lie. Spread the word. E-mail
this message. You can expose the hypocrites who sell us lies every day
in the culture, on college campuses, and practically everywhere else in
America. They are fools who know nothing. There’s more truth in prison
than there is in the average high school classroom, believe me. Even
many of America’s churches are frozen by the lie. Ask yourself, if they
really knew the truth, wouldn’t they be laying down their bodies in the
streets to protect America’s children? Wouldn’t we all?
Out the truth — fight the culture.
