Hewitt’s first column, on attacks on B.C. cartoonist Johnny Hart over his Easter comic strip, appears this weekend in WorldNetDaily’s commentary section.
Hewitt is author of “The Embarrassed Believer: Resurrecting Christian Witness in the Age of Mockery” and “First Principles” and also hosts a weeknight television program, “Life & Times Tonight,” on KCET, the Los Angeles PBS affiliate. Hewitt has received three Emmys for his television program.
An attorney, Hewitt served as assistant counsel in the Reagan White House and is a law professor at Chapman University. His commentaries have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, Investor’s Business Daily and the Weekly Standard. He appears frequently as a commentator on Fox News, ABC’s “Politically Incorrect,” NBC’s “The Today Show” and CNN’s “Larry King Live.”
“Hugh Hewitt is a gifted political and cultural commentator with keen insights,” said Farah. “I’m proud to give him this new platform for his views on WorldNetDaily.com.”
